ARAGOSA, a fascinating, quiet village of 20 people situated within the canyon of the Río Dulce river. Historical buildings: a Romanesque 12th century church overlooks and protects the village from above, the water spring and the old clothes washing area. Children playground facilities and picnic area are located at each end of the village by the river side. The village festivities are held on August 15th of each year. |

Río Dulce National Park. The park extends to 130 km2 from Aragosa in the south of the canyon to Jodra del Pinar in the north. The peaceful trail follows the river side for about 20 km, ideal for birdwatching (birds of prey and river fowl) easy trailwalking, hiking and mountain bike riding.
